According to Swedish law a resale right is charged on resale of artwork. The premium is being payed out to the artist or to his och her relatives.

The size of the premium is 5 % of the price with the condition that the price exceeds 2 200 SEK.

Only a small share of all the goods sold at Kaplans Auktioner is encompassed by the resale right. In those cases, the item is marked with a small (d).
