Premiums
Kaplans Auktioner charges the buyer a premium of 20 %, VAT included, on top of the hammer price for all auction items.
A premium of 20 % is also charged on shop items. At our site we show the total price for all shop items.
Example:
You have won an item for 10 000 SEK. The amount you should pay is 10 000 + 2 000 = 12 000 SEK.

Staircase
If the price exceeds SEK 200 000, we use the following staircase
Sales price up to 200 000 SEK: 20 %
Sales price between 200 000 and 500 000 SEK: 10 % on the excess
Sales price above 500 000 SEK: 5 % on the excess
Example:
You have won an item for 750 000 SEK
200 000 * 20 % = 40 000 SEK
300 000 * 10 % = 30 000 SEK
250 000 * 5 % = 12 500 SEK
Total buyer premium = 82 500 SEK
The amount you should pay: 832 500 SEK
