Advance payment
Kaplans Auktioner can offer you advance payment on lots that are handed in for sale.

Payment
Advance payment is normally offered in connection with the handing in of a lot. It is also possible to receive advance payment on a lot already handed in but not yet sold.

Size
The advance payment may be less or equal to half of the reserve price. Kaplans Auktioner reserves the right to decline a request for advance payment without giving any further reasons.

Cost
For each advance payment a credit fee of 50 SEK is charged plus a monthly interest rate of 2 percent, corresponding to 24 percent per year. Please note that these fees are in addition to the regular fees and premiums when selling.

Interest
Interest is charged from the day the advance payment is paid until the item is sold or withdrawn. Interest will always be charged for a minimum of one month, thus making the minimum interest cost 2 percent of the advance payment.

Repayment
As long as your item is unsold you can repay the advance payment.
The interest is then charged until the day of repayment.

Selling
If your lot is not sold three months after the auction date, Kaplans Auktioner holds the right to auction the lot without consideration of the earlier reserve price. Before a new auction attempt we will always contact you. If the price should not surmount the total debt, the discrepancy is to be paid to Kaplans Auktioner.
