In recent auctions, Scandinavian designs, along with the major international jewel brands, have sold strongest.
Names such as Torun Bülow-Hübe, Sigurd Persson, Wiwen Nilsson, Bvlgari, Chopard, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels attract Swedish and international buyers.
Gemstones are also in strong demand at Important Jewellery. In the most recent auctions, jewellery with sapphires has repeatedly gone for considerably more than the starting price.

Our latest Important Jewellery auction
On Saturday, May 31st, the spring edition of Important Jewellery 2025 was held at Kaplans.
The auction attracted both Swedish and international bidders. Designer pieces from prestigious brands such as Bvlgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Cartier were in high demand, while antique jewellery also drew strong interest. The total hammer price reached just over SEK 5.8 million.
The highest bid of the auction went to a pair of exceptional platinum pearl earrings, adorned with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds and two unusually large oriental pearls. After intense bidding, the earrings were sold for SEK 650 000.
