What sells?
In recent auctions, Scandinavian designs, along with the major international jewel brands, have sold strongest.
Names such as Torun Bülow-Hübe, Sigurd Persson, Wiwen Nilsson, Bvlgari, Chopard, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels attract Swedish and international buyers.
Gemstones are also in strong demand at Important Jewellery. In the most recent auctions, jewellery with sapphires has repeatedly gone for considerably more than the starting price.

Important Jewellery Autumn 2023
This Autumn’s Important Jewellery auction took place Saturday November 25th at Kaplans. International brands and colourful gemstones stood for the strongest results.
An Art Deco ring in platinum with a 3,32 carat Kashmir sapphire went for SEK 550 000. Many pieces from brand such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels och Chopard went highly over the estimated price. Sought after were also jewellery in both gold and silver from the Scandinavian designers Wiwen Nilsson and Ole Lynggaard.

Drop into Biblioteksgatan 5 in Stockholm. Our experts are available for submission and valuation weekdays between 10am and 6pm.
