Kaplans is looking for pieces for Important Jewellery – our special auction of high-quality, exclusive jewellery and silver items. Every year, we select the season’s best items to create a unique mix of antique beauty and contemporary rarities from top designers.
Important Jewellery is followed by traders and buyers worldwide looking for exciting items for auction.
What sells?
In recent auctions, Scandinavian designs, along with the major international jewel brands, have sold strongest.
Names such as Torun Bülow-Hübe, Sigurd Persson, Wiwen Nilsson, Bvlgari, Chopard, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels attract Swedish and international buyers.
Gem stones are also in strong demand at Important Jewellery. In the most recent auctions, jewellery with sapphires has repeatedly gone for considerably more than the starting price.
