Important Watches Spring 2026

On Saturday May 23rd, it is time for the spring edition of Important Watches at Kaplans.
The auction presents a carefully selected range of the most interesting watches of the season. Among the lots are watches from prestigious manufacturers such as Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Rolex, Omega and Sjöö Sandström. Discover everything from delicate ladies’ watches and elegant dress watches to sporty chronographs and limited editions.

The printed catalogue will be available at Biblioteksgatan 5, Monday May 18th. As always, the catalogue is free of charge.

Viewing
The viewing of all watches takes place at Biblioteksgatan 5 in Stockholm.

Condition and detailed information
At Important Watches, we describe the condition of the watches using a ten-point scale.
The graded components include Movement, Dial, Case, and Bracelet. One part of the scale is Kaplans' watch experts’ overall opinion of each watch.

You can now watch videos of selected watches from Important Watches.
As a complement to the product images, we offer videos of selected watches from the auction. Experience the watches in motion and get a clear view of their condition and design.

Register as a customer
To participate in the auction, you need a customer number. Register online or with our customer service.
When registering online, our customer service sends an email with your login information. If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number, you need to send in a copy of your passport or identification card. Remember to register well in advance.
Bidding and premiums
Take part in the bidding through absentee bids, online bids, or by pre-arranged phone bids. You are also welcome to our auction room on the day of the auction. Please remember that all bids are binding.
For items up to SEK 1,000,000, our buyer’s premium is 20% of the hammer price. A gradually decreasing commission applies to the exceeding amount. A hammer fee of SEK 50 per item is also added.

Streaming
Can’t make it to the auction in person?
Experience the auction as if you were in the room via our livestream. We offer live streaming of the entire auction on desktop with both sound and video.
All you need is a computer with a recent version of Edge, Chrome or Firefox.
Unfortunately, streaming is not available on mobile or tablets.
Winning bids
If you win a bid at the auction, you can choose to collect the item from our customer service at Biblioteksgatan 5. You can pick up your purchase immediately after the lot has been hammered at the auction.
You can also choose to add shipping when making payment on the website.
Please remember that purchased items must be paid for within 5 banking days.
